Equipment available:
Biostatistical software available includes SAS, SPSS, S-Plus, Egret, PASS (for sample size calculations). Data management software includes Microsoft Access, QDS for audio computer-administered questionnaires, and SPSS Data Entry. Additional software is available through the NYU Information Technology Services, including state of the art geogrpahic software for mapping and spatial analyses.

Frozen specimens of blood, plasma, tissue - Specimen processing and shipping of materials $30/shipment
Fresh samples of blood and cells - Specimen processing and shipping of materials $30/shipment
NB: Specimens in storage and fresh samples are free of charge. Space for storage of materials is negotiable, dependent on quantity.

Equipment available:
The Core has bench space, centrifuges, low-temperature storage, and step-down freezers, with six hoods, and includes freezers for storage of serum and plasma at -70°C, and for cells at -130°C. CO₂ and liquid nitrogen are available for backup. A remote alarm system monitors temperature and power failures. A total of 250 ft² is available storage of this facility.
