Guide to Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)

Although HIVinfosource.org is focused on issues related to HIV prevention and treatment, we also want to increase awareness of sexual health in general. This section focuses on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) other than HIV. It is important for you to know the risk factors for each STI and how to prevent, recognize and seek treatment for them. Also, there is considerable evidence that becoming infected with an STI can increase your risk for HIV infection.
